The Valve Section

The valve section is the combination of all valve parts of the mellophone. It is a central component of the instrument and contains the valve casing. The valve in the valve casing can be activated by pressing it, which changes the length of the mellophone tube and lowers the pitch of the sound through the lengthened tube.
