Whale feces as fertilizer

Whales produce large amounts of feces that are rich in nutrients such as nitrogen and phosphorus. When this feces enters the ocean, it can enhance the nutrient supply for phytoplankton and other plants in the ocean. Since phytoplankton absorbs carbon from the atmosphere, the increased growth of phytoplankton through whale feces can help capture carbon from the atmosphere, thus contributing to climate protection.
